Versatility and advanced technological control
The machine is equipped with eight motors, five of which are brushless dedicated to controlling the main units. This configuration ensures millimetric precision in managing the operating cycle, allowing for an adjustable speed from a minimum of 30 to a maximum of 80 cycles per minute. The feeding system uses special lugs which, combined with the film unwinding from the bottom, accompany the product towards the sealing area smoothly and linearly. This mechanism prevents displacement or damage to the most delicate products before sealing. The box motion sealing units create pillow packs with three seals (two transverse and one upper longitudinal), offering impeccable aesthetics and maximum tightness.
Material flexibility and preservation in a protective atmosphere
Operational flexibility is another strength of this horizontal packaging machine. Thanks to independent temperature control and specific technical adjustments on the sealing units, Idra can effectively work with any type of packaging material, both for standard applications and for processes requiring a protective atmosphere. The lower reel holder, supporting a maximum film width of 800 mm, has been updated with innovative details to optimize film unwinding and reduce machine downtime. The new Idra packaging machine adapts to a wide range of industrial formats, accommodating products with widths from 50 to 200 mm and passage heights up to 200 mm, making it an ideal system for sectors ranging from fruit and vegetables to bakery products, ready meals, as well as non-food products.
Digitalization, MES, and maximum food hygiene
In line with digital factory requirements, Idra is equipped with latest-generation electronics. The multi-protocol operator panel with a 10-inch touch screen offers an intuitive user interface that simplifies remote control and allows perfect connection to the company's MES software, facilitating traceability and production data analysis. From a structural point of view, the exclusive use of stainless steel and anodized aluminum meets the strict hygiene standards of the food sector. The machine's design facilitates routine cleaning and sanitization operations, reducing contamination risks and ensuring maximum safety in the production cycle.
