Flow Pack Packaging Machine IDRA

Idra “Box Motion” horizontal flow pack machine is an advanced solution for packaging loose and difficult-to-handle products, especially when they are arranged in multiple layers. Reliability, versatility and dedicated optional accessories, such as the function to open only one side of the bag (front or back) for customised packaging, make it an asset for specialised applications. High-performance, robust, built from top-quality materials and featuring state-of-the-art components, Idra is equipped with eight motors, five of which are brushless, that control the main assemblies. The feeding system, featuring special teeth, and the film unwinding from below ensure that the product is optimally guided into the sealing area, where the sealing units (box motion) produce perfect pillow-style flow-packages with three sealings: two crosswise sealings and one longitudinal sealing on the top. Special devices on the sealing units, in addition to the ability to control sealing temperatures independently, make Idra a reliable solution when using any type of packaging material, with or without MAP. The lower reel holder incorporates innovative details to secure optimal film unwinding. State-of-the-art electronics, a multi-protocol operator panel with a 10-inch screen and an intuitive user interface provide key functionality for interactivity, remote connection, and integration with the company MES software.
