The Pick & Place filling machine OCTOPUS is an innovative integrated solution for the end-of-line segment; it effectively automates workflows, by streamlining production and by reducing manual labour, thereby improving product handling operations. Solid and compact, it is built with the highest quality materials and components, it features advanced technology. It is designed to be a practical and truly efficient solution: the picking area consists of robots equipped with single/multiple and interchangeable vacuum gripper heads depending on the type of product to be picked and to be placed in a cardboard box/plateau/crate. The structure includes several machine groups at the inlet and outlet for transporting products, empty packaging, and filled containers; the relevant parameters are integrated into the machine's touch panel.
Octopus can easily be integrated into complex production lines and can communicate with upstream and downstream machines.The multi-protocol operator panel with a 10" screen, perfectly integrated into the machine, meets all functional requirements, such as remote connection of the machine to external systems and connection to the company's MES (Manufacturing Execution System) for production management and control. The user interface is intuitive and contains all the technical documentation. Equipped with advanced safety devices and a stainless-steel structure, the machine complies with industrial safety standards.
